clemmy
What I'm wondering is if the mold will accept slightly smaller hook size. I.e. Will the 7/16 oz size accept a 5/0 or 6/0 hook? Thanks, Craig
cadman
Do you have a Do-It mold model number so we can give you the correct information? That would help.
clemmy
Sorry Ted, The DoIt number Is SMB-3L. I'm not hung up on that particular mold though. I'm just looking for a heavier weighted hook in 4/0 to 5/0 hopefully, 3/8-1/2 ounce. The other requirement would be a horizontal eye.. Craig I may just need to get the hook and some clip on weights to try my idea.
gaspumper
Mustad 91768 might fit it
LimpNoodle
Should be able to use a smaller hook in that mold. It's pretty forgiving.
JBarlow
It will take a 5/0 in both styles. I did not have the 6/0 in the 38104 so I cannot guarantee it will fit but it should since the 5/0 fit. The 6/0 in the 91768 fit.
RTM
If anyone is curious, I have poured 6/0's and 7/0's with the smaller swimbait hook mold.
