gone2long
Dave..... I never really read through all the fine print in Malwarebytes. What do you get with the paid version versus the free? I read it's live meaning from the moment you turn the computer on its active and works in the background.

Vodkaman
As far as I know, the paid for MWB is no different to the free. I don't generally pay for something if I don't have to, but that is how impressed I was, it saved my computer. I have MWB on all the time, but it is not necessary to do that if you don't want to. It is not intended to replace virus software. If you have a specific virus problem, you should look it up on a clean computer if necessary, to find the way to clean the virus. This may well involve other software in addition to MWB. Some of these viruses write themselves deep into the core of your computer, and can re-embed themselves every time you remove them. It takes special procedures to get rid. DAve
alsworms
Yeah I've had problems in the past with other virus programs eating up too many resources while running in the background. Been using Microsoft Essential for a few months now and so far, so good!
