Zyonb
Do you need an injector for a two part mold? Or can you just pour the plastic in from a measuring cup..?
Frank
Some of the older ones you could hand pour but most nowadays need to be injected. If you can hand pour it will say that in the description when you buy.
Zyonb
If I wanted to make a two part plaster mold and I want to hand pour it do I need to make any design changes?
gone2long
The real issue you have is in the detail if its just a large cavity without detail and appendages like stick baits and the like then most often it can be hand poured but you will find yourself very frustrated if you put claws, legs and the like into it.
ipt
i make 2 piece hand pour molds from POP all the time, you just need to make sure gravity will fill your cavity. also everything needs to be thick enough to keep plastic flowing without cooling off. send me a pic or more details and i'll have a pretty good idea for you.
