Stumped
Does anyone have a favorite Trick Worm mold?
FATFLATTIE
I have Dels open pour 6.25" diamond tail mold. I am really terrible at hand pouring and they come out kinda ugly at times but I catch plenty of fish on em. With no sprue or injector plugs you don't have to mix up much plastic to make a bag of worms and I do like that.
gone2long
If your hand pouring an open mold you really can't beat Lurecraft's trick worm it's easy to pour and they come out very nice and the price is right you can buy 4 molds for the price of one cnc mold.

finesse1331
Here's a better picture of the Trick worm mold I have , it's a hand pour.
FATFLATTIE
Do you put a release agent of some kind to get that shiny finish? I have the same mold and it has a more dull finish than what you have pictured.
finesse1331
No release agent used at all , it's an aluminum mold. Is yours aluminum ? You should be getting shiny baits out of it.
FATFLATTIE
Yeah, mines aluminum as well. The Dels diamond tail?? Probably speaks volumes about my hand pouring skills!
finesse1331
Try cleaning your mold with some worm oil , make sure there is no film or dirt in it. You should get shiny baits out of your aluminum no matter what skill level you are.
