Captainpaddlefoot
Has anybody used this for lure finish? Works well for rod finish. It doesn't finish have a super smooth finish but, I'm not concerned about how it feels to anything other than a fish. It is one part and dries in about 24 hours. Any feedback on the U40 good or bad? Running field trials on it now. Thanks, Doug
BobP
I think it's a polyurethane finish. Fairly durable but not in the same class as an epoxy, moisture cured urethane, or a UV cured polyester. Is it good enough for a crankbait? Not to me, but every builder has to judge these things for himself.
Chuck Young
I agree with Bob. Plus I have a bit of a problem with a 24 hour dry time. How is the out-gassing? While it may work well on a rod which is above water, I question its durability under water.
