foamboard
Hi All... Just recently put together two quick clips of some underwater footage of a couple of my baits. Enjoy! Cheers! JRammit
You mixed it?.. Its catchy! I could see it on my workshop playlist... If i could stop laughing long enough to get any work done Interesting design too... Is it front weighted? Or does the mouth slot force it to point down on a pause? foamboard
It's not weighted. The wood is maple, which is fairly heavy. Since the lure tapers to the tail, there is more mass at the head of the bait… This is what causes it to lean forward on the pause. The mouth slots cause the driving down action on the jerks of the rod.
Rowhunter
Reef Hawg style. I like the skinny ones hangtime. Douglas Edited June 4, 2016 by Rowhunter
foamboard
Yep... me too. The standard Wedge (skinnier one) has some lead in the belly and is made of a different wood (WRC).
Kent I
Interesting idea...seems to work really well. Nice going.
barrybait
foamboard, Nice job on the lure, but the song is really good. If you put it together you did a really nice job composing it. It changes up nicely. You must have a background in music to get that done. Congrats, Barry
foamboard
Thanks for the positivity, Barry. Yes, the little jingle is mine. I guess you can say that I'm just another example of the "failed musician, turned bait-maker" cliche. But seriously... I do appreciate the comments. Thanks! SlowFISH
I think that song blasting in your boat would be better than using a Hydrowave!!! LOL!! Nice bait and song! J.
