Recommended Posts

First of all i would like to introduce myself. I am 14 and i am from new york and live on long island, my name is greg. I fish mainly for bass.

I have just become interested in pouring my own plastics, i am interested in pouring my own trailers for jigs. I want a mold that is similiar to the super chunk and one like the super chunk junior also the sizmic bitsy craw chunk.

Hey Greg! My first piece of advice would be to go through the archives and read as much as you can. There are posts on how to make your own molds and also listings of places you can buy molds. The most popular mold suppliers are Lurecraft, Del-Mart molds and Bobs Tackle Shack. Just use your favorite search engine for their web sites. If there are still questions just ask.

Go to Lurecraft and look around. They'll have the mold you're looking for. As a beginner start off with one of their molds. They are cheaper although Del's are much better. As you learn to pour and if it keeps your interest then buy good molds that will last a lifetime from Del or whoever. Buy a few basic supplies, get ready for your mom to scream at you for stinking the house up and enjoy catching fish on baits you made.

I think this is what your looking for. Bob's is the cheapest place to get quality molds, although delw offers many more molds. Both have great products.

Dlew's Chunks

You may want to do your first order from dlew so you can get some plastic too bob does not sell plastic.
