Scottzkee
Looking to find some pictures of everyone's injection systems and stations. Has anyone here homeade any air compressor stations for injection of molds?
goldenshinner
I was chatting with a guy in Minneapolis that converted a pressurized presto pot by adding a simple air pump like used for aquariums, and had drilled and taped.threads on bottom of pot.adding a brass shut off valve with nozel.it had a open valve that allowed air to flow thru pot.when this valve was shut, the pressute would build and push plastic thru bottom spout..it doesn't fully make sense when I think about it..I'm probably missing some details..but it was a functioning home brew production machine..if I would add my thoughts.if the pots aluminum,I'd be tempted to add the biggest magnetic stirring pin I could find, and rig or convert a stiring plate
goldenshinner
Its funny I also chatted with a department head that retired from a local plastic research lab He said the only plastic he would not allow in his lab was "the vinyl stuff"..PVC..because its long term dangers.this warning kinda freaked me out a little..I'm switching to remote pressurized breathing air I think..
