Captainpaddlefoot
I use mainly Createx and some Testors airbrush paints. I have had some issue with lures eye sticking to the painted baits before finishing. What glue have you used that hasn't melted down your paint? Super glue gel? Want something to applied quickly and clean. Thanks, Doug

SVT-Power
If I have an eye that doesn't want to stick, I squeeze a tiny amount of old fashioned super glue out and dab the tip of the toothpick into it and then make a small dot, very small...in the eye slot and put the eye on. I know guys that put it on the eye but sometimes you will see where their finger touched the glue and hit the outside of the eye. But I have only had to do this a few times over the past 17 years. I've bought eyes from about every source out there and some just don't stick well.

Richard Prager
I have always use this and use it with every eye that goes on...last thing I want is the eye to slide when brushing on the BSI Epoxy. Few pennies extra but pays for itself with one bad bait at best....one broken window at worst! I don't own a dog to kick.....

Richard Prager
Great...they already think we're the same person! LOL....Learned that one from Cadman when he mentored me with skirted baits. I got lucky once and they had them in the $1 bin at Staples....No wonder they're out of business!
DingerBaits
Ha ha! My apologies Richard. I just like how much control you have with them due to the squeezable sides so the glue doesnt just run out all over the place.

SW Lures
I like your ability to Richard. I put a drop or two on a board then I take a toothpick and dab super glue on mine. Lol I just don't have the control anymore. I leave a small area where I can pick up the eye with an Exacto knife and put it into place. A little pressure and life is good. Sometimes you must adapt.
