WebbsBaits21
Hey guys. I've gotten into pouring stick baits "senkos" I'm having an issue with them. When I pull them from the mold there will be some flat spots on some of the worms any idea what's going on?
Jig Man
Try pouring slower and fill all the cavatives to the point of running over. You may also need to fashion some spru extenders. I use copper pipe joints. Edited June 26, 2016 by Jig Man
mark poulson
I have the Essential 5" senko mold, and I have to hold pressure for a few seconds. I am also careful to shoot at 315-325. Hot plastic shrinks as it cools, and gives me dents.
MonteSS
Hold firm pressure 10 secs after filled. Top off every 10 secs as many times as needed. Never let the fill hole go down.
Bassinfool
Which mold do you have by chance and are you hand pouring or injecting your baits?
ipt
copper pipe joints are your friend, sockets work well too. after the mold is filled, put the fitting over the sprue and top it off
