Chip
Hey All... I did these myself for some web advertising, but I have not let them loose other than on my site.... Comments welcomed: Broadband File Dial Up File You should just be able to click on the links above... but if you have problems, you can Right Click on "Save Target As".... Save it and then click "OPEN". The original file is 120MB and clear as can be.... but to compress them for viewer downloads takes the crispness out of the vids... the downloads about are 1.3MB dial up and 2.6MB for the broadband. Be honest.... Yall (and a couple other forum sites) are the focus group.... Thanks Chip
DeVeryTY
Hi Chip, Liked the concept, the end felt like a portion of a fishing show. Perhaps you should make 3-5 minute fishing instruction video's as opposed to an out and out advertisement, I'd be more likely to return to a website if the content changed weekly or bi-weekly, something like "Chip off the ole dock and update latest tally of your sponsored team, show suggested fishing techniques with your lures and or share a short lure making tutorial. Anyway You did ask for honesty and I'm being honest when I say use a live fish next time. Good luck, DeVery
Chip
Naw...I appreciate the input... Polightly speaking, I should say for the record that if my friend Jerry feels that this post (above) is not appropriate here, he can remove it. I am not intending on advertising to lure makers... LOL, but I respect Jerry's opinion for his own site. Regarding the concept, I am going to do some broadband instructional things... i.e. luremaking (not on the retail site), fishing instruction, and the such.... This was my first attempt and walked away feeling giddy about it! LOL Anyway DeVeryTY, I think you are exactly correct with regard to getting people back to the site. Thanks for the input! Take Care! cheesehead
Chip, The fishing part of the video needs work. You might want to look at getting some footage of the fish hitting various lures instead of you unhooking one small fish. After watching the clip twice i don't remeber hearing anything special about your lures. I would push the custom aspect of your products and let your clients know they are getting something special, not another mass-produced lure. Keep up the great work you have been my insperation in making my own baits. Thank you. John
Tm Customs
Chip you want honest I will break it down for ya, I am not willing to shell out 15-20 bucks for 1 lure that catches a 2lb bass(Neither are most normal fishermen) Most guys have cought plenty of 2lb bass on cheap store bought lures I have been very interested in wood lures for specfic situations for some time, aspects to stress would be there boyancy how they can be fished in structure because they will back up fast when you release pressure on them so they dont get snagged. Show how the square lips deflect structure very well. Insted of just showing youself catching one fish, show several different situations deep water shallow water structure. Show how you have several different types of lures that can out fish normal lures. Mabey show a cilp of a chalange a C-Chip VS. a popular store bought lure. Mabey once people see how effective your lures are they will be willing to pay more otherwards there just spending 15 extra dollars. I am sure you understand that many people dont know about these aspects and do not appricate custom lures hopefully these steps can bring them around Taylor
Chip
Now those are some FINE statements!!! I tell yah fellas...Someone sayin it is GREAT!! is good for the ego, but not the progression of the task. Many things you mentioned, like bait challenge, BIGGER FISH (this is my only fish caught on tape), more fish catchin, etc...I have thought of and will do...I appreciate you validating my thoughts as well as giving me new ideas! Regarding the 2 lb bass.... the average size bass caught is 1.5 to 2.5 lbs. If a Tournament fisher caught five 2 pounders a day in a tournamnet, they would just about walk away with angler of the year.... Its the few BIGUNS that put them over the top. If I get a bigun though.... you bet it will be on video! Good comment though TMCustoms! I dreamed this whole project up about a week ago and went out and bought hardware, software, etc... to be able to do it. This was my first project as a short video producer.... I guess since no one said it stinks!!! LOL , I must be headin in the right direction.... I need to get deadlystreamer up here in Clarkston for some filming and to give him a graphics disk.... Thanks So Much for your input! Regards and your friend! Chip

Tm Customs
Yeah Chip, I know it takes time but get your wife out there with ya and have her film, you also might want to mention the average size of your bass. For most areas I belive 1-2lbs is average even here in CA but we get 5's pretty often mabey get some 3+'s on tape that would be good. Hope this helps.
