Frank
You can buy sheets from spike it. Cut them how you like. If you are in the area come pick up some!
Cami
Dear Mark, as you know I'm not American, so I'm not sure what you mean with "mylar bits" (little pcs. of mylar?). Anyway as you know mylar nets and mylar sheets resist very well to plastisol temperature and you can easily find them in each Fly Fishing Shop. For instance I cut little triangles from an holographic mylar sheet, then glue them inside the internal sides of the mold to obtain ... fins. I you want to obtain not commercial flakes, then a good opportunity could be to destroy an holographic mylar net and mix all little pcs. in plastisol ... and they do not bleed. I also discovered that other kind of sheets can be used as inserts because their heat resistance: Shellback by Hends, they are Fly Fishing stripes, and Nail Art Foil ... yes that one used by girls. Bye. Cami
