DeVeryTY
Hi guys and gals, Came up with this after playing with some interesting artificial fly tying materials. I especially like the effect the floss gives on the tail. I'm also thinking to sticking to a colored tube body and beads for spinners and the "Guppy" and other shapes for jigs and buzzbaits. Better pictures are at: http://groups.msn.com/HomemadeFishingLures/firecrackerspinner.msnw?albumlist=2 Wouldn't mind hearing some thoughts. Thanx again, DeVery

DeVeryTY
Thanx for the compliment Zook. I think it's pretty good as well. The only problem is the cost of fly floss. & Sieb you're giving me way too much honor, but thank you none the less. Let me know how it looks in there! earthworm77
I was very impressed with those little spinners DE. I'm almost afraid to fish them. If they smack a rock, will damage result? They look like the are made or glass. I might just put them in a show case as well. They are just too pretty.
DeVeryTY
Hi E77, It is made of glass. If you hit it with a hammer it would shatter, If you rode over it with your car it would shatter, If you dropped a boat on it, it would shatter. They don't shatter all that easy, depending on what type of bouncing you do off the rock they'll do fine, for example I use my lures all the time in shallow streams and rivers with never any breakage, they seem to do well being retrieved and skipping off bed gravel and stone. But I wouldn't cast into a rocky stream inches in depth. I've also no problem using my lures in any other situation, just don't hit them with hammers or drive over them and they'll be fine.
