dlaery
I spray a lot of 2 part epoxy with a regular paint gun. would an ultrasonic cleaner clean off the epoxy that get build up over a period of time?
Painter1
I can tell you that doesn't work for us with industrial epoxies. I'm in the industrial coatings application business and that would be a parts cleaning godsend if it did work.
dlaery
I figured that but I thought I would ask. thanks!
ribeye
I use laq.thinner and a good gun cleaning kit. Can pick them up at your local auto paint stores.
dlaery
thanks, I use laq thinner, I guess I don't take enough time to scrub it every time. soaking it in laq thinner messes up the plastics parts in it. the main thing is keeping it out of the nozzle, I usually give it a good brushing but once in while it gets a little on it and messes up the pattern. i'm just looking for an better way if there is one. ribeye
Maybe try the SEM XXX gun cleaner. Part # 77743. That might work for you. I use that on my sata jet 90 hvlp spray gun.
