WalleyeAndy
I am looking for J plug blanks, salmon plugs, or ideas for salmon plugs. Mostly just want J plug blanks.
jonister
I have seen kwikfish blanks around. I think lurepartsonline or jansnetcraft might have them. I've never seen J-plug blanks though.

ChilliSpoons
If you can find a Commercial Salmon Troller they often troll Tomic plugs. When the paint wears off the plugs they tend to toss them into a bucket and eventually into the trash. I've been lucky enough to have received about 100 old plugs and sanded them down then used Rustoleum plastic paint meant for resin lawn chairs as a base before adding my own pain schemes. This might be an option???

Ben http://www.luhrjensen.com/luhr-jensen/lures/hard-baits/j-plugandtrade/J-Plug.html Ben, What is the joint in the lure? Is it two piece, or just assembled from different material? RayburnGuy
Ben, What is the joint in the lure? Is it two piece, or just assembled from different material? I have no idea Mark. Have never used one. Sorry couldn't help. Ben
jonister
I'm not sure if it's different material, but behind the joint is where the rattles are. I've picked a few from garbage cans before. The Dory fisherman use them sometimes in the ocean. Where will you be fishing? Could quikfish work? I know Hagen's tackle has the blanks for dirt cheap.
