kvillebasser
I'd like to post a photo or two of my baits to the gallery, but when I get close to my baits to take a picture, my camera will not focus. Its a digital Olympus. Does anyone have any suggestions.
Big Splash
You could take the photo from further away, then crop and enlarge, but you will lose some details. Do you have a scanner? most do good photos of lures...
woodsac
Does your camera have Macro? If you're not sure, look at the buttons on the back and look for one with a little flower next to it. The flower represents macro, which is for taking pics very close. You can also explore the menu and see if it's in there somewhere. What model Olympus, maybe we can help. kvillebasser
OK! I found the macro thing on the back of the camera. I've taken a few test close-ups, and I think I'm in good shape. Thank you very much for your help. I'll try and post some pictures tomorrow.
redg8r
That dang "macro" eluded me for the longest time, too. Like bigsplash said, Ive seen some real good images coming from scanners too, the only thing I've found odd is that it sometimes leaves a rainbow like reflection on the clearcoat, it looks so good Ive actually asked a couple guys how they got that finish, & they said "scanner did it" but for simplicity, its the way to go. awaiting to see those baits.....
