Foil On Cranks

Recommended Posts

Good quality foil tape with backing works very well, in fact it has advantages. You can draw and cut shape on backing paper, cut shape out with backing still on, and you can apply scale patterns etc.prior to applying to lure. Also easier to apply to lure by attaching foil at one end and slowly remove backing as you go. Each to his own though!

Id say try both .. backing or no backing.. they both could be beneficial.. but the backing based that I've used .. just is flimsy foil.. buy a roll of both and you decide !
