smalljaw
I've used every head mentioned and the one I now use is the Trokar Pro Swim Jig. It uses a flat eye heavy hook so I can attach the blade with a split ring, the other heads I either had to use a double split ring or punch the hook eye open. I also became fond of using a split ring over direct attachment because it allows the bait to really hunt but that is my preference.

JBarlow
Ultra Minnow spinnerbait, love having the longer shank hooks!! I use this one also. It works great if you don't mind having to bend the wire yourself. On a side note you get to do the direct connect to the head if you use it. On a side note you get to do the direct connect to the head if you use it. I run an .051 straight wire out the front of mine and then bend a loop and close it (similar to putting the end blades on a spinnerbait). Pretty simple to do and I have yet to meet a freshwater fish that has caused it to come undone!

Skimpy
3/0 and 4/0 Awesome thanks. Do you do 4/0 for the 1/2oz and 3/0 for the 3/8oz ???
Apdriver
I like the 4/0 but have used the 3/0. Prefer the 4/0 on both for the hookup ratio. The 5/0 is a bit large for my preference.

josh'sjigs
I also use the Trokar swim jig mold. Just modified it with a dremel to accept straight eye hooks for attaching the blade directly to the jig head. Works well for me.
Kscatman76
I use the Trokar swim jig as well and use a split ring and I'm thrilled with the amount of thump and hunting action. either way you go this is a great mold. I've made some good swimjigs with it as well.
