HuntNFish2324
I am looking for a better way to package swimbaits. The tails continuously get kinked in plastic bags. Who do you guys use for swimbait packaging? Are clamshells the best way to go? Thanks -Jake
DaveMc1
Custom molded is the only way to ensure the tails stay straight but it is incredibly expensive to get it started, mold costs are very high and minimum orders are very high. Last time I ordered mine I had to buy 10,000. Edited September 29, 2016 by DaveMc1
HuntNFish2324
Thanks Dave, definitely not in need of 10,000!
bribass
your best route is to google search - stock clamshells and go from there. its a pain looking through all the measurements but most with send samples to make sure they'll work Theres a lot of companies and options out there but they won't be thermo formed around the bait. it'll be a square or rectangle shell to put them in. Custom formed will cost you at least $10,000 after mold fees, and meeting the MOQ
