goldenshinner
I tried molding and cutting out color and placing back in mold. I had a little problem of lure separating when tugged on at transition of color,,I tried a little paint in mold, but it wasn't durable,it would brush off mostly.. DaveMc1
Flow Pencil and Spike It's Dotting VPI paint. do it after the bait comes out of the mold. DO NOT paint the mold. https://www.ispikeit.com/Store/p-621-paasche-flow-pencil.aspx https://www.ispikeit.com/Store/p-586-black-dotting-5322.aspx
goldenshinner
Actually I'm looking for more a gradient effect. Not so well defined color edge.I was also curious to a controlled color bleed by say making two batches one color non-bleeding,one bleeding, and cross stacking .leave for some precise amount of time, then effectevly stop the process by coating in worm oil .giving it a spot of color in one area that got gradient fade..any thoughts?...I've seen some custom runs,o can't figure out how they do it

goldenshinner
I'm hesitant to post pictures of other people's work,I don't mind discussing technique, but posting is too much..
DaveMc1
If you won't post a picture to show what you are trying to achieve, how do you expect someone to help? Why not just shoot the person that made the baits a message asking their technique?
