Pure Action Baits
I can't figure how to make the divided Pyrex cup I have tried 3 times now and can't get the metal cut right and can't get the JB weld right. Can someone help me or make me one for cheap?
Slammingjack
Use the JB weld putty. Be careful not to get that black stuff all over your hands. Use some cardboard, cut it until it fits inside the cup. Use it as a template to cut the metal. Put the putty on both sides of the edge of the metal and press in place. Good luck. Dink Master
Use cardboard to make a template, OR fill your Pyrex Cup with cooked plastic (new or remelts) let the plastic cool (hardened), pull the plastic out of the cup, cut in half. Use one of the halves to trace a outline on your diver material. JB Weld it in place.

finesse1331
Won't the metal arch inside the microwave ?
DaveMc1
Won't the metal arch inside the microwave ? Not if it is dulled up it won't. It is the very shiny reflective surface that causes problems in the microwave
Baitjunkys
If it was me, I would cut the plastic in half as said, trim it down, and fill the pyrex with silicone, Push the plastic down in it, Now you got a silicone divided cup.. finesse1331
So would sanding the surface with something to dull the surface work ?
POV_Fishin
Not if it is dulled up it won't. It is the very shiny reflective surface that causes problems in the microwave Sharp edge's tend to be what causes the arching. Good example is an injector tip. Won't spark. Crinkled surfaces are what you're looking to avoid. Dulling the surface of the epoxy is a good recommendation to avoid this though.
