cadman
Good idea. How hard was the mod? Are you willing to show us a pic of the inside of your mold?
LimpNoodle
I'll spill the beans. The mod is not hard at all. I got turned on to plumbers putty for modding molds. It doesn't get hard, stays in the mold quite well, even when using those coils. I'll get some pics of the mold tomorrow. Just take a small amount of putty and place it where you don't want lead. psilvers
Limpnoodle- Good idea! I was thinking of the same thing because I like the coils. However, I did NOT know about the plumber's putty. I have been using muffler putty which DOES get hard and does not last all that long. I will have to look into the plumber's putty. Thanks for the tip. Pete
