Big Splash Posted September 22, 2004 Report Share Posted September 22, 2004 This mold is a reproduction of an existing lure. Quick tip: Start the mold by building a plasticene base plate. Cut out the shape of the bait, and position the bait so a little more than half ( mold seperation line) is sticking out of the clay, then pour the first half of the mold over top of the bait. Cure, flip over and clean up the first half. Cover the surfaces with mold release. Re-insert the bait into the half cavity, then pour the second half. When making the next mold ( second copy), forget the plasticene and use one half of the fist mold to start the next. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
