Painter1
There was a particular couple of molds I wanted some more of, and they are made by Del. I was reluctant to order direct, but since LC doesn't carry them any more I sent a message to Del. I was diplomatic but expressed my concern with past reputation of slow to no delivery of orders. I was promised delivery in 2 weeks. He has someone named April helping and the service and communication was excellent. Molds have been delivered ahead of schedule and look great. Will shoot some baits with them this week.

MonteSS
I have been using two of his four cavity 5.25 stick molds for years. Modified for side inject and joined to shoot eight cavitys at once. 100% perfect baits every time
Frank
History will repeat itself. Still owes me one too. If there is a sale around thanksgiving buyer beware!
POV_Fishin
There's a mold that I'd love to get from them. But it's going to take more good news over time to get me over the years of problems I've found.
edgecrusher
Dunno POV my thought when I ordered was I was using pay pal I'd claim the money if it went on long
Travis
Never had issues in the past. Never had any fear of not getting money back via pay pal or the credit card deals with it promptly when it comes to online purchases.

bryanmc
I bought my first mold from Del in '05 or so and have bought many more over the years. I have never had an issue getting what I ordered. With any business you look at, you will find some people that have had a bad experience. ribeye
I've bought a mold from del a few months ago. Shoots perfect so I ordered 4 more a few weeks ago and I finally shot some tonight and they are coming out with a dust residue. Sorry if I'm thread jacking just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
FATFLATTIE
Should go away. Probably just aluminum dust from the milling process. I've had a few have that Dusty look but usually one or two shoots of the mold and it's all gone.
Darkman
Little soap and water and light scrubbing should do the trick Just a little left over residue

walbrown
He could be dusting the mold cavities with a poisonous powder to eradicate all the people that he has screwed in the past... I'm just kidding here... the dust residue in the cavities is just from De-burring and sanding the mold faces after machining. One or two shots in the mold will clean all the residual dust. LureCraft
He probably isn't busy is why the molds are being shipped quickly too but I will say no more. What I will say is if anyone has a mold they would like but do not want to order from him, I will be happy to look at it and if it is something I add to our stock line up, we will not charge a design fee, only the mold cost. I would need a copy of the bait or borrow the mold itself so we can make our version of it. We have several molds that we converted to LureCraft molds. curt k
I wouldn't say copyright infringement but it could leave them wide open for a mold maker that they copy - to copy everything single that they put out without hesitation

First, the original mold designer would have to apply and be granted a patent on the design or function of the bait. Then they would have to enforce it. As of right now I am not aware of any of the mold makers available to us that hold a patent on any of the molds being sold, it would plain cost too much to get into that. gone2long
Yep and del was one of the first to do it with RI's sweet beaver, the holy grail of reproduced molds.
Baitjunkys
Honestly, as mold makers, That's all most people want to buy is copys of commercial stuff, Want to copy colors, Some even copy the packaging. The only way we mold makers stay in business, Is selling stuff that has parts or pieces copied, Occasionally we can sell our own design. SRJ
I followed up on your post having never heard of Sweat Beaver and low and behold I have it made by DO-IT they call it Beaver Style Bug. Seems to be little honor among thieves.
