Painter1
I used Spike-It Clearasol for the first time this week dipping some swimbaits with eyes. It stayed sticky. I heated it to 350. Am I doing something wrong?
DaveMc1
did you make sure it was 100% mixed up?
Painter1
I bought it in a gallon jug and shook it like any other gallon of plasitol. Can't see any difference between top & bottom, but I guess I need a mixer bit that will fit in a gallon bottle opening. Any have a mixing bit like that? Frank
Put it in a container that is easy to mix very well. This makes thing much easier everytime you use it. If you decide just to mix it in the container you have use a welding rod folded in half and put in a slow drill..most of the welding rods come in 36" lengths so it should be perfect ct size. You will be able to get all the corners of the container. It being round should minimize introducing bubbles.
