bass ackwards
What is the best bang for your buck from smooth-on? I bought a gallon of platinum smooth-sil 30 but have not used it yet. I saw that somebody mentioned mold max. How does that compare to smooth-sil? I paid $109 for the gallon I have. Should I stay with the platinum series or go with something else? Art Brush
Bass Ackwards, Smooth-sil 930 will out perform the moldmax series. It's formulated to be heat resistant where as moldmax is more of a common use silicone. Moldmax does ok but won't last as long. Best bang for your buck might be durahms water putty but I can't say for sure as I haven't poured any soft plastics yet. Tight lines, Shawn
