joelhains
Any good YouTube videos for dipping tubes? I've tried it but I haven't been happy with my results. Of like to find a few videos to hopefully improve my process/results. Thanks!

Les Young
Joel, the only thing I've saw was a post on wmi.org that bohon done going into pretty good detail about doing it. No pics though. I googled hand dipping bass tube lures & found it. I saved it as a shortcut on my computer at home so I would have it when needed.

mark poulson
That's Frank's video, and he has it down to a science. His system of keeping the plastic at the right temp while he's dipping lets him work at a good pace, without worrying about reheating. He uses some kind of electric hot plate to keep the plastic up to temp, once he's microwaved it up to working temps.
Travis
I just dip in a pyrex cup. I hold the cup tilted back and just dip my rods and hang them. Can dip out a 4oz cup of plastic with out any issues or need to reheat. Just need enough rods and method to hang them. Once you get the routine down you can knock out a lot of tubes.
