The first is to print a picture of a real fish onto tissue paper and glue it to the sides of your bait. You still have to paint the top and bottom of the bait afterward, and clearcoat it. The second is to buy plastic "lure sleeves" that you shrink onto the lure with hot water. Haven't tried either method but think there was a recent post about lure sleeves you might find that includes a link to a provider.
