Groucho
Can someone help me. I'm sign in but can't use the search feature. Is every bodies down or just mine. I want to send an order off for spinnerbait supplies and need to know if people use hollow beads or solid beads on a spinnerbaits. Can anybody help me out on these 2 questions. Thanks
JBarlow
I could not get any results the other day when I used the search feature. I use hollow beads and metal spacers on my spinner baits. JB

Apdriver
Hollow too. Solid really doesn't do anything for you in a Spinnerbait.

smalljaw
Hollow, and the major reason for me to use hollow is weight. The only time I'd use solid metal beads is if I was making a heavy spinnerbait for musky with heavy wire. like .051" or some thing similar. I have tried solid beads on spinnerbaits and when using wire that is .040" and less it feels like it deadens the vibration and I believe it is due to weight. azsouth
hollow on almost all lures.
Musky Glenn
I use mostly hollow but I like for the clevis to ride on a solid. Don't know if that makes a difference but I feel it may.
