jcool3
Looking for a source for pointed barbed spears like those found on Mister Twister Keeper Hooks. I want to use these on Elaztech baits on saltwater fish. Unfortunately Mister Twisters hooks are not strong enough. I just want the keepers. Another source? 21xdc
I tried buying these from mustad years ago... They would not sell them to me. I'm interested in what this post brings.
Fatman
They're basically fly line eyelets, you can find them in any fly catalouge BUT!! the problem you'll find there is the eyelet isn't going to be as big as a large hook eyelet. You could write or email to one of the companies and see if they have bigger ones.

LimpNoodle
Why buy Mustang products through Hagen's? Why not just buy them from Mustang and avoid the markup?
jcool3
I tied some double opposing hook keepers as demonstrated by Aaron Martens, but using sevenstrand wire instead of brush guard. Seems to work on Elaztech baits. Can post a picture if anyone is interested. In a youtube video, someone suggested heating corkscrew keepers. I tried that, the keepers went in easily, but pulled right out . Didn't work for me, too much heat?
