Scootalong
Looking for a tube mold. I'm interested in the splines that don't require a cutter but I can't even find those for sale. Do you guys use these and if yes where can I get one? If no, why not? What's the advantage of a cutter?
hpssports
Bass Tackle makes a couple of tube molds. I've had a few of them & they shoot great.

Flippinstick Mike
I own the ultra molds version & love it. It shoots great & is very consistent.
Jig Man
I have the ones from Bear's. They do a good job. I've been using them for 3 or 4 years.
SRJ
DO-IT has just come out with a couple of pretty unique splines. One has a pointed tip and the other is a squiggle spline. http://store.do-itmolds.com/Tube-Splines_p_160.html Edited December 18, 2016 by SRJ added info

RTM
I originally bought the spline model from BT. Painfully slow and tedious. So much better to get a mold from Angling AI and buy the tube cutter block and smack with a mallet. I just don't think you really save anytime with splines, but each to their own

No I just make sure the plastic is over 330 degrees. If I am doing 2 color I use soft for the tails the medium over 330 deg. To me cutting tails is no big deal for my & my buddys use. If i was pumping out big batches at a time a cutting press would probably be the way i'd go, but you can cut way more than you think you could with the block & rubber mallett too. Doing 2 colors i can see the need for splines as well though. Edited December 19, 2016 by Les Young
DaBehr
I mold the Do-it tubes and just got the new Squiggle Spline which has fantastic action. https://store.do-itmolds.com/Tube-Molds_c_291.html Maybe it's just me, but I've never been happy with any of the tube cutters....injection is the way to go unless you need really large quantities (selling them).
