CShock
I'm looking for a skirt color guide if there is one. I know some have secret colors they use but it's intimidating looking at all the skirt colors trying to put together different skirts. If someone would be willing to share what colors you use on say bluegill or crappie ect. Ive tried searching but have had no luck. Thanks for the help. smalljaw
The reason why you won't find it is because there are so many colors that everyone uses different combinations. The fun thing about this is coming up with colors that match the forage in the waters you fish, go to Tackle Warehouse and look at bluegill pattern swim jigs, there will be some that have green pumpkin with blue and some with orange added to that and still others that have chartreuse in it. Get creative, use skirt tabs with glitter and with patterns with solid colors and create the next best bluegill or crappie or perch pattern. Walking Dead
I would search for craw, baitfish, pics online and analyze them for primary and secondary colors. Then go to your skirts or supplier web and apply. In addition, there is nothing like holding a local shad or craw in your hand. Remember, the season may cause the local forage colors to change along with what they are foraging.
