cmayes
I just poured with a ladle for the first time. Had been using a bottom pour pot,,,I'm not pouring from the bottom any more! My pours were so much better than in the past years. I am done with the bottom pour pots! I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. It all started when my pot clogged and I haven't been able to clear it. Best mistake in jig pouring I've ever made

smalljaw
I use a ladle on certain molds, spinnerbaits have always been a ladle pour to me as well as the brush jig.
Jig Man
I stick with the Lee pot for everything except jigging spoons. I can't get the lead hot enough in the Lee pot to pour them so I use a cast iron pot and my fish cooker.
cadman
I will stick with my bottom pour pots as they are made for speed. However I use a ladle for all of my spinnerbaits.
Apdriver
I only ladle poured for a long time and finally bought a bottom pour. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I even use the bottom pour for my spinnerbaits. Just have to cant the mold and drop the lead right in the hole. I won't use the ladle anymore. Only if I must for problematic mold. Kasilofchrisn
I only Ladle pour my big stuff. Anything over 2 or 3 ounces. For smaller stuff the bottom pour is so hard to beat. And mine doesn't give me too many problems.
