TSM
I'm looking to pick up a compressor for airbrush painting some lures, and was wondering what you guys are using. I want something decent but would like to stay under $150. I'm a total beginner so nothing super fancy but i would like one with an air tank. And I also just picked up a Iwata Eclipse gravity feed gun to use with it.
BobP
Assume you are talking about a tool compressor? There are lots of good choices. I use a 135 psi Porter Cable unit that has a 6 gallon air tank. Works great and I see it sold for less than $150 all the time.
Lurenerd
Senco PC1010 for $117.00 on Amazon. I love mine, its quiet and runs two airbrushes without a hitch. Only addition was an in-hose water filter. It gets humid in Texas now and again.
Super Ron
I use the Master Force Ultra-Quiet from Menards because I live in an Apt. And it's mostly quiet. They ran it in the store for me to hear and I was sold. But I never thought of the pressure valve which makes a loud hiss. But over the past 3 months, it's been used every day all day long and really has not skipped a beat. Not even any moisture in the filter.
