clemmy
Hello, In the back of my head I remember that there used to be a skirting tool that looked like a pliers but with 3 prongs instead of 2. I looked online and found a pliers skirting tool, but it's more like a conventional pliers. Im trying to open up some tubes so I can glue in another bait inside. It's a pain, so I thought it might make it easier if still in production. Thanks, Clemmy

cadman
I don't think Bass Pro carries them anymore. Actually the guy who patented the first ones is now retired. His daughter is running the website. I believe, you have to buy them direct from the website. I actually have 3 pairs of the first pairs made and as crude as they were, they still work great for heavier skirts.

Mooki
A similar tool is available, though not specifically for jig-skirts. Sleeve expander tool / Sleeving prong, lots of different names and I'm not sure which is correct. Used for rubber sleeves in electronics.
