RayburnGuy Posted February 5, 2017 Report Share Posted February 5, 2017 You could spray a coat of acrylic clear over the bait before you top coat it. This should seal the sharpie from the top coat. I haven't tried them but that's the type of paint the majority of us use. The 2 above answer would be easier if they work for you. Ben How long would it take for it to cure and could it be cured faster with a heat gun? I bought some envirotex lite but haven't used it yet. The bait that I made recently, I used a regular black sharpie for some details. DoubleT Posted March 24, 2017 Report Share Posted March 24, 2017 Stopped by Michaels on the way home from work today and picked up a black Craft Smart paint pen. You can get them in several different tip widths. Priced right at just a couple bucks. I couldn't find anywhere on it that stated the type of paint that it is. The fella there said it's acrylic.
