dpalinsk
I recently purchased an Eastman Powder Coating oven and fired it up for the first time today. For those that have this oven, is it normal to hear the fan? It's more of a humming warbler sort of sound and it seems to shift between a low and high speed operation periodically. Thanks, David
Basseducer
Mine has a humming sound, but not like you described. Then I usually set it and leave the room. Might get in contact with Eastman and see what they say.
walleye warrior
I am on my second one and I don't think I have ever heard the fan on either one. Give them a call if you think it is not right. They have a no questions asked lifetime guarantee.
dpalinsk
Called Eastman today and was not impressed with their Tech Support, at least not the person I talked to. She went to listen to their unit and when she came back she mumbled something about not able to hear cause of a filter system in their shop. And then some other BS because she "wasn't where I was" to listen to my issue. But, she offered to replace it "if that's what I wanted" to do. (Told me that they would pick mine up Wednesday and the replacement wouldn't ship until the defective one was received by Eastman.) She was pretty worthless and I asked to escalate. Got transferred to Customer Service and had a much better experience. I complained about them at least not cross-shipping. They're sending me a new unit and they're not bothering to pickup the defective one cause it cost less than $100. Seems crazy to me and I just didn't want to wait 3 weeks.
