jtgibso1
hey guys, lurked a while and got into tying jigs.... now looking to paint some baits. got a lot of the material gathered up and looking at some blanks right now. I've seen a few of the ones i'd like to try on ali express for some pretty cheap prices in comparison. i know you often get what you pay for and so on, but just wondering if anyone had any experience with these blanks? especially looking at the 1.5, 2.5 and spro md knockoff types. SW Lures
Take a look at Dinger Custom Baits^^^^^. Predator is another. These guys help us and has plastic blanks. This doesn't mean you have to, but we try to help out sponsors here. We also can communicate if needed much more easier. If I missed any please chime in. That's why I normally don't refer by name. Can't remember all of these companies. Dale

AZ Fisher
There's a lot of info in the pinned thread at the top of the Hardbaits section called "Crankbait body links"...
buzfly
Buying overseas is ok but you assume all the risk. I do it and have only had a few problems. Most of the US guys are getting them from overseas. It's very expensive to develop your own molds and purchase the equipment and all the other headache involved. If you want customer support shop fome people in the states and expect to pay a little more for that piece of mind. It's a good thing if you need it. Overall I never expect any plastic bait to be perfect because most of them are seconds, overruns or close out blanks.
