Sfrye37
Can you guys post some links to where I can get epoxy from to coat my finished lures. I am having trouble finding what I need. I have used gorilla glue 5 minute epoxy and it seems to work fine. I just wonder if I should be using something else and where could I get it. stretcher66
devcon 2 ton (aka.. D2T) 30 min epoxy or Bob Smith (BSI) 30 min epoxy . BSI the problem with the 5 minute is it develops a brownish tint when exposed to UV rays. And the other problem is 5 minutes to brush it on is way to fast. you would be lucky to get 2 lures done before it sets up. do a search for 5 minute epoxy on here there is tons of threads about it and other top coats. MikePaintsBaits
I Use The 30 Min Devcon (Clear) , The 5 Min Isn't Going To Work , As The Guys Above Have Stated , It Will Start To Set. Mike
mark poulson
The Decon 5 minute epoxy is only water resistant, not water proof like the D2T.
JRammit
If you have an Ace Hardware nearby, you can pick up D2T (Devcon 2 ton) there Another problem with 5 minute epoxy, it doesn't have enough time to level out on the bait... 30 minute epoxy will level itself and give you a smoother finish without the lumps you may get from 5 minute
