flocknocker1
Has anyone used this by chance? Method of application and does it dry clear ? I assume it is applied after paint but before clear coat ? Thanks for any help on this.
JeffR
I use it. It's basically white paint that reacts to UV, it's not clear.
flocknocker1
If you apply the glow under the paint do you get the same effect ?
AZ Fisher
I recently bought and have used Wicked UV Glow Base. I sprayed it on as a clear coat after painting, then cleared with DT2 on some baits and KBS on others. The UV Glow tended to matte the paint finish some but glowed fairly well under a black light. On the Coast Airbrush website, if I remember correctly, it says to mix the base with other colors and spray. I would think that painting over the glow base would negate the glow effect, but haven't tried it.
mark poulson
You might try using it as a base coat, and then putting your scale netting over it, so that the scale lines will glow afterwards.
flocknocker1
It does seem that painting over the glow would negate the effect of the glow.Maybe mixing it in with a color is the way to go,as AZfisher suggested.
