Mikado
Hi, How to get the melon frog color?
alsworms
Judging from the pic..... Watermelon with a touch of red hi-lite (unless the red is just a glare from the picture).......medium and small black flake. Also looks like there might be some small red flake. Can't really tell by my monitor. Touch of pearl white on the bottom
Mikado
Thank's for your prompt response! My problem is that there are a lot of watermelon dye ...The one that would fit is closer to the "ayu".
alsworms
Looks like MF watermelon would work. Not sure about some of the newer companies. Maybe someone can chime in on those.
Mikado
I tried the MF watermelon. It's too green. We should rather go to the yellow or the light brown ...

Frank
Spikeits Kudzu is a yellower green. It should work for you.
DaveMc1
I would start with Spike It's green pumpkin 109 personally, add a touch of watermelon 101 to it to get it a shade greener.
Mikado
Thanks Frank & Dave. I have just ordered the recommended dyes.
McLuvin175
Looks like a weak Watermelon to me. You must remember that adding Red Flake to Watermelon will give it a brown shade look versus the same color Watermelon without Red Flake. Watermelon 101 is a good bet. Also the belly looks like solid Hi-Lite Red Pearl. Im sure some if it has "wrapped" over the back section during lamination. I doubt there is Hi-Lite Red Pearl in the back section. Mikado
Finally it was thanks to the help of Josh Middleton of Spike-it that I managed to find the right recipe. A big thank you Josh! For 100 ml (0.21 pint) I put on one side 7 drops of green Pumpkin 109 and on the other 3 pinch of red Hi lite powder. Here is the result: on the left the original and on the right my copy ...
