I would like to have some that are around 10 ounces each or possibly a little larger. I have found some online but the shipping is ridiculous. Often times more than the cups. Looks like the cheapest way to buy them is going to be by the 1000. Thats a lot of dang plastic cups. Oh well. I wouldn't need any for a long, long time. Dauds Posted March 9, 2017 Report Share Posted March 9, 2017 Perhaps a generic alternative... I use 12oz disposable transparent (reality: semi-cloudy) party cups. Just the generic ones you can get anywhere. They slip right inside each other. So, I used one as a 'master.' Since it's cloudy, so I can see through it better, I cut a narrow 'window' almost from top to bottom (so it's still connected). I put a new cup into the 'master' and filled it with water at certain increments: 2oz, 4oz, 6oz... whatever your needs... each time making a mark on the outer 'master' cup. Obviously, you need an accurate way to make the initial markings; I have a syringe which helped. Essentially, once it's set up, you just put a new cup in the 'master' which is all marked up, and fill the inner cup as needed. Example: a 50/50 volume epoxy, fill the inner cup to the 4oz mark (on the master) with part A, then to the 8oz mark with part B. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

clemmy Posted March 10, 2017 Report Share Posted March 10, 2017 Well, if you wanted to use the scale method, you could pour the required volume of micro balloons into the graduated cup 10 times and weigh each time. The average weight should be at least as accurate as eyeballing in a measured cup.
