BassJunky
Question for anyone that uses Smooth On Silicone to make molds. My first batch of baits I made with SmoothOn Mold Max 25 and I like the finished product. When I went back to buy more all they have in stock is Mold Max 60 can anyone tell me from experience what the differences are? I checked their site and I know the 60 can handle higher temps, but the only image they provide makes it look much firmer. I'd prefer not to waste the $40CAD

Landry
The mold max60 is very firm and has a low tear strength. I use it to make lead molds and it stands up well even though lead exceeds the recommended temp. I would stick with 30. However mold star has equally good products with no degassing necessary and 50/50 mix ratio. Sculpture Supply Canada - great place in Mississauga. BassJunky
Thanks guys. Quote Sculpture Supply Canada - great place in Mississauga. Thats where I picked up the Max Mold 25, but Im a few hours away and can't get there often. I will see about having my local shop bring in the 25, 30 or Mold Star
