Ladyfish
Trying lake of the pines for the first time. Any suggestions on hot spots?
alsworms
If this is the Lake of the Pines in CA, a friend of mine fishes it once in awhile and does well with morning dawn and light root beer colors for soft plastics, and shad imitation hard baits. Unfortunately, can't help with hot spots though. I believe it's a very rocky lake and this should be an ideal time of year to fish it. With the weather warming up, fish should be moving to more shallow water. Try 6 to 8 feet with those baits and I'll bet you score some fish. Good luck!
