psilvers
Does anyone around here do this? The form I am looking for would be rather simple - straight wire with a closed loop on each end. Eventually, I would be looking for some quantity. Thanks, Pete
smalljaw
It would depend on the size of the loop and what diameter wire.
psilvers
The loops are not big - they should fit in the space for a hook eye in a Do-It mold. I want to convert a regular Do-It mold to a swing jig. The wire size would be .04 and maybe .051. Do you make wire forms? Pete
smalljaw
I can make wire forms with round loops but not what you need. I was thinking you wanted a straight wire shaft with a round loop on each end like the type you can get pre-bent to make in-line spinners with. For the project you are doing I'd have to use a round nose pliers and it isn't going to happen with .051" and even with .040" it would be slow going. I'm sorry but that type of wire form I couldn't help you with.

Pete Pete, It would have to be done by a machine that can bend small radii, and with. 040 or .050 there is a limit as well. Depending on your quantity, call up O'Hare Spring in Elk Grove Village, IL they may be able to help you. I think their minimum is a run of 5K

Fatman
Send them an email or call and ask about what you're looking for - sometimes they have overruns and you can get them cheaper.
