toadfrog
Okay I've spent enough money and time . These lures are ten years old at least . The eyes are hand painted . They are not from the paints common in the industry now I don't believe . They stay on tight . You would have to really dig at one with a finger nail to get it off and most times will tear it first . Does anybody have a guess or remember someone using such a paint back when . This is becoming a vendetta for me . I hate not knowing . fshng2
Try Spike-It Plastic Worm and Chunk Paint for painting eyes on your soft plastic lures. They have several colors. http://www.barlowstackle.com/Spike-It-Plastic-Worm-and-Chunk-Paint-P1781.aspx
toadfrog
Got some on the way . I was hoping someone recognized their own work and could tell me what paint they used back when . My luck would be that it was banned or something.
fshng2
Good for you. When you are done adding the eyes be sure to post your work in the Gallery.
