Anglinarcher
Hate to say it, but if you can give us a picture to look at it will help. There are some awesome guys on this site that can match almost anything they see, but I have never known a color that was specifically "mudd puppie". I am not that good, but with a picture you should get several suggestions by our members.

We have no idea what colors he used and would like to make a few batches. Some have told me maybe a green pumpkin but them seem to green. And another called it mud puppie Edited July 12, 2017 by Rustyfawcett Spelling
Anglinarcher
I agree that it appears to be a shade of green pumpkin with black flake. It might have a touch of amber added. But, like I said, I am not that good at this. I have no doubt that getting the picture on here will get you better responses soon.

alsworms
Yup.......looks like a light green pumpkin to me. The cut pieces are lighter because they are thinner.
Driftwood
Looks like green pumpkin/black fleck to me. It may have just a shade of chartreuse mixed in.

Apdriver
If you want it darker than whatever green pumpkin you use, add a few drops of red until you get it where you want it.

Rustyfawcett
Would you mind posting the recipe for it. I am new to this it's going to be a first attempt.
Baitjunkys
Red to green pumpkin will give it the brown hue as suggested above. Salt is gonna alter the perceived color 100%

Rustyfawcett
If I get a 5 gallon bucket of plastic how many 4in tubes do you think I could get out of it. That bait shop wants to buy them from me and trying to figure out a price. But I have no clue how many tubes you would get. They would be injected not dipped. Thank in advance
Anglinarcher
How may pounds in a 5 gallon bucket? How many pounds in a bait. For example (numbers made up of course) 50 pounds in a bucket divided by .1 pound per bait would be 500 baits. Now, I would expect that you would get 90% of that theoretical number due to waste and bad pours and mistakes, but you could do better. You could do the same thing using volume it is easier to determine the volume of the tubes. Good luck.
Baitjunkys
avg tube no additives is 12 grams, 50 pounds would net 1889 tubes assuming you use every drop. Add salt, glitter etc raise the end number. Edited July 19, 2017 by Baitjunkys
