Joelh831
Hey guys, I've started pouring swimbaits recently and just made a new mold with same silicone and same masters. But now I'm having a new problem. when i do multiple colors for some reason I can't get the plastisol to get a nice uniforme fill at the tail of the swimbait. I'm found open hand poured swimbaits. I didn't have this problem before. And I haven't done anything different that I can notice. But I did start using baitjunkies plastisol witch I think it's great. Any help please !!!!! Here is some photos this are the better ones the other ones look a lot worse. Thanks Edited July 19, 2017 by Joelh831
Travis
Air is being trapped. Plastic is generally too cool to allow the bubble to rise up the tail and cavity. Either go warmer plastic or cut a very small vent (like a micro sliver of material) to allow the air to escape and the cavity fill. Both may be needed and I always preferred venting than trying to push plastic hotter especially with neon or light colors.
