Van1707
Hi Guys I hope you all well? First of all Im new to the Forum, and I just want to say great forum!! I am from South Africa and i currently make hand crafted custom jigs. Now Ive recently purchased all the stuff to make soft plastics so that I can make matching trailers for my jigs. Now Ive got one important question. If I have an open pour mold, like for a Fluke or Jerkbait, how do I go about getting a two tone colour fluke? Like for example your Zoom Baby Bass fluke, just as an example. How would I pour the two colours? It would be a hand pour mold. Jig Man
If I understand what you are wanting, the way I do it with my open pour fluke mold is pour the first color part way along the belly of the bait. Let it set up for a few minutes then pour the back. For me it is trial and error on how long to wait before pouring the back. If I wait too long they won't stick well if I go too early the colors mix.
