ribeye
I use the do it essential medium and I find it's not getting as hard as usual. I cook it good and get it to 350. I buy it in 5 gal and keep it in my shed. No insulation or ac. Maybe moisture getting in the bucket?
DaveMc1
no, won't be moisture. make sure you're mixing it good.

ribeye
I give it a good shake by hand and do some barrel rolls with the bucket. I will try giving it a good stir and see what happens. Thanks yall.
Baitjunkys
shakes and rolls really don't mix phased out plastic very well. You got to stir it.

MonteSS
Stir gently with a stick. No reason to agitate it that much
ribeye
Thinking about transferring it to gallon jugs.

No reason to agitate it that much I mix drums with a 3.5" Prop attached to a motor spinning at 1800 rpm (called a drum agitator), no bubble problems to speak of. Before that I used a paint stirrer in a drill mixing 5 gallon pails, again, no bubble problems to speak of. Don't mix air into the plastic and you shouldn't have an issue. Side note, have you ever tried to properly mix a bucket or drum this way?

Baitjunkys
Nothing wrong with the drill Monte, You just cant spin it super fast. If its sucking a vortex you are to fast.

ribeye
I stirred it real good with some paint paddles and all is good. Thanks to everyone for the comments.
BigBaitB
I take a paint mixer to my 5gallon bucket every week and transfer the plastik to a 1 gallon container to fill my cups. I have had no problems doing it this way either. As long as your not over mixing as you color and pour your baits air bubbles should.be kept to a minimum in my opinion
